Comment

The gene encodes for the enzyme syn-pimara-7,15-diene synthase. It catalyzes the conversion of ent-copalyl diphosphate (ent-CDP) into 9-beta-H-Primara-7,15-diene, an intermediate in the Momilactone A and B type of diterpene phytoalexin metabolism.
