Assembly

This release is based on TIGR pseudomolecule assembly release 5 of IRGSP finished sequence.

Clones which were not used in the assembly have been mapped as features, and are listed here

Annotation

• Feature data sets mapped to the genome can be viewed in summary and detailed form.
• Putative orthologs between japonica rice, indica rice, glaberrima, Sorghum, Arabidopsis, Grape, Poplar, and maize gene models were generated using Ensembl's compara pipeline.
• Syntenic regions between the maize FPC map and the rice genome assembly were estimated, and loaded into Ensembl.
• Whole genome alignments between Sorghum and japonica rice, Arabidospis and japonica rice were generated by Ensembl's blastz-chain-net pipeline
