Current Release: OR_CB FPC: Feb 2006

The Gramene Browser for Oryza rufipogon presents results from the Oryza MApping Project (OMAP).

This release is based on the OMAP FingerPrint Contig (FPC) map from Jan 2006, generated using the OR_CBa BAC library. This map has undergone manual annotation whereby the FPCs have, where possible, been anchored onto the organism's chromosomes.

Additional annotations generated by the Gramene project include:

• The 'base' data from the FPC map file consists of the locations of FPContigs on chromosomes, and clones on FPContigs. These data form the basis of the genome browser views.
• In addition to the 'base' data, syntenic spans between O.rufipogon and O.sativa were estimated using the procedure outlined [here]
