Description Nearest marker loci is R1943 on JRGP map. Positive allele effect contributed by
Kasalath. For assaying Glutamine synthetase (GS1, EC:6.3.1.2) amount, the blade
of leaf 9 was harvested after the emergence of leaf 11 from the sheath of leaf
10. The amounts were determined by densitometry of the western blots. Single
marker regressions were used to detect the association between markers and each
trait using qGENE software. Significant differences (P<0.05) in marker class
means were interpreted as likely linkage of each trait to the marker locus.
