Description | The putative QTL qSd.1 is associated with the control of seed dormancy in a rice population constructed from crosses among IR50/Tachimochi/Miyukimochi, evaluated under field conditions. Its map location detected in F1 coincided with that detected in F2 generation. The positive allele that enhances dormancy for this QTL is from the Indica parent. The QTL qSD.1 is located in the genomic region of the orthologous Vp1 gene on chromosome 1. |
