Scutellum elongate, shoot apex poorly developed, embryo necrotic. Normal
segregation ratio. (J. Clark). Allele emb*-8503 more variable in expression
than emb*-8502. Genetic 2005 1 coordinates determined from these recombination
and map data: emb4 TB-1Sb; see MaizeGDB ID:139767. This gene was originally
curated in MaizeGDB Database and the map position was displayed on the maize
