Which grasses are presented in the Literature database?

The majority of the citations are rice articles.

How can you search the Literature database?

You can search the Gramene Literaturedatabase by using key words, subjects, author names, or journal titles. Literature searches can be done in the searchbox at the top of any page, or you may go directly to the Literature Database (http://www.gramene.org/literature)

Does Gramene provide reprints of any of the articles found in the Literature database?

Gramene does not provide reprints of any articles found in the Literature database due to copyright issues. However, you can try to use the journal links provided in Gramene to check whether the article is available on line. You can also try to contact the authors directly.

Does Gramene have the e-mail addresses of any of the authors found in the Literature database?

No. Gramene does not provide e-mail addresses for authors of the publications collected in the Literature database.

How do I subscribe to the Rice Genetics Newsletter (RGN)?

In order to subscribe to the RGN, contact the treasurers of the Rice Genetics Cooperative. See http://www.shigen.nig.ac.jp/rice/oryzabase/rgn/newsletter.jsp for more information.

How do you cite the Rice Genetics Newsletter (RGN)?

You can cite RGN articles by following any general format [author, year, title name, journal name (RGN), volume, page number]. For the on line version of RGN displayed by Gramene, the page numbers are not entirely obvious. However, you can easily get the page number for the article from the table of contents.

How can I make a submission to the Rice Genetics Newsletter (RGN)?

To submit publications to RGN, go to Oryzabase (http://www.shigen.nig.ac.jp/rice/oryzabase/top/top.jsp). On the left side select "RGN & Office" then click on the submission window.
