The Indian Council of Agricultural Research proposes to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the All India Coordinated Rice Improvement Project (known as the Directorate of Rice Research) during the year 1990. As part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations, an International Symposium on "Rice Research-New Frontiers" will be organized in the third week of November 1990 at Hyderabad, India. In the three-day symposium, leading rice scientists from all over the world are participating and presenting papers on the following topics:
