27. Arm location of Adh-l and Sdh-l isozymes using secondary trisomics
Heterozygous secondary trisomic 2n+l1S 11S showed higher dosage of IR36 allelle for Adh-l, while 2n+ 11L 11L showed same intensities of IR36 and MaHae alleles as is in
F1 disomic sib (Fig. 1). The Adh-l is therefore located on the short arm of chromosome 11. Secondary trisomic 2n+12S 12S showed higher dosage of IR36 allele for Sdh-l compared to MaHae allele (Fig. 2) and is, therefore, located on the short arm of chromosome 12.
