We can accommodate upto 270 participants in Los Bahos. If the number of participants does not exceed 270, the symposium will be held at
IRRI. Otherwise in a hotel in Manila. Please send the abstracts of your paper by April 1,2000. Full manuscripts will be due by June 30, 2000.
We are receiving many research notes on molecular biology for publication in Rice Genetics Newsletter. Therefore, we have added Dr. Ray Wu as the third editor of RGN.
We reported about the project on “Mutants of Rice” in the last volume of RGN. Considerable progress was made in compiling the information for the book during the year. We hope to make more progress in 2000.
