gene symbol.
Synonym: Type the synonyms if any.
*Gene Name: A text suggesting the new name for the gene (full name of the suggested symbol).
*Gene Description: A text describing, the biological fuction(s) associated with suggested new gene, suggeted protein families, synonyms, homologs, orthologs, mutagenesis
technique, genetic background, environmental condition related with the
mutant or phenotye, etc. used to identify the new gene and its fuction.
Reference for the Rice Gene Symbol
Ref. Category: Mention the
documentary evidence for the suggested gene, for example, published or personal
communication. The option "curator" is for internal use.
