Description:

This map was developed by the Institute of Genetics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is based on a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population of 107 lines derived from a inter-subspecific cross between ZhaiYeQing 8 (ZYQ8) indica and JingXi 17 (JX17) japonica by the single seed descent (SSD) procedure. 154 evenly distributed markers in the DH population (IGCN ZYQ18/JX17 DH QTL 1998), were used in constructing the linkage map of the RIL population. In the population, the genome proportion of ZYQ8 ranged from 0.02-0.99 and the average was 0.58. Thus indicating that genome ratios of ZYQ8 was slightly higher to that of JX17 in this poulation.
