This map was developed by the Institute of Genetics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The doubled-haploid mapping population is derived from an inter-subspecific cross between ZhaiYeQing 8 (ZYQ8) indica and JingXi 17 (JX17) japonica. The map consists of 276 RFLP, 34 RAPD, 89 SSR, 10 AFLP, 10 TAS, and 9 isozyme markers. In the population, the genome proportion of ZYQ8 ranged from 0.17-0.84 and the average was 0.497. Thus indicating that genome ratios of ZYQ8 and JX17 are similar to each other and were randomly distributed in DH population.
