Description:

A F8 recombinant inbred population consisting of 285 lines was developed by the single-seed descent method from a cross between IR20/IR55178-3B-9-3. IR20 is a tolerant variety to P deficiency, whereas IR55178-3B-9-3 is sensitive. A subset of 84 RI lines was selected and used for genotype analysis. A linkage map consisting of 26 RFLP markers and 217 AFLP markers had a total map length of 1371.8 cM.
