Description:

Mapping was done on a population of 83 recombinant inbred chromosome lines (RICL) to investigate the source of FHB resistance from a wild tetraploid. Analysis of lines containing the 3A chromosome from T.dicoccoides identified the Qfhs.ndsu-3AS QTL as the source of disease resistance. A linkage map was constructed with 19 loci, viz. 8 RFLP loci, 5 SSR loci, and 6 GRA loci, spanning a distance of 155.2 cM. The marker and map data are kindly provided by GrainGenes.
