Description:

The mapping population consists of doubled haploid lines derived via anther culture from an inter subspecific cross between indica cultivar IR64 and tropical japonica cultivar Azucena. Out of the original 135 lines, a subset of 96 were randomly selected for mapping. Using MAPMAKER 2.0 software, markers with LOD > 2.0 were integrated into the framework maps and those with LOD < 2.0 were assigned to the most likely intervals. Centromere positions were estimated from Singh et al. (1996) and Cheng et al. (2001).
