Description: | The mapping population consisted of 204 F2 plants derived from a cross between Labelle and Black Gora. Labelle (LB) is a tropical japonica cultivar with slender grains while Black Gora (BG) is an indica (aus) cultivar with bold (wild) grains and a black pericarp. Both cultivars have similar grain length.
