The mapping population was 50 homozygous recombinant inbred chromosome lines developed in the CNN background. A single-factor ANOVA was performed with PROC GLM (SAS Institute) on each pairwise combination of quantitative trait and marker locus. Markers which indicated a significant association with agronomic traits were then subjected to multiple regression analysis by PROC REG to select the best set of markers in the final model.
