areas have opaque endosperm underneath. Clearly expressed in 2 and 3 doses,
faint in 1 dose. Linkage data unclear; identified as on 1L in Neuffer et al.
1987, but "linked to R" is annotated in 1977. Genetic 2005 1 coordinates
determined from these recombination and map data: 1L?; see MaizeGDB ID:9017627.
