Description | Mapping population: 145 RILs were derived from a cross between F-2 and Io. 152 RFLP marker were used in the experiment. Plants were grown in a greenhouse until 4-leaf-stage. Two treatments: control and water stress were carried out in four replications. Four fourth leaves wer sampled daily; three 0.5 cm squarre leaf discs were punched from each leaf for ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase measurements. The MQTL solfware was used for QTL analysis. In this simplified Composite interval Mapping method, some markers, chosen by stepwise regression, were used as cofactors to reduce the genetic background. |
