Description Andromonoecious dwarf, intermediate stature; few tassel branches; responds to
gibberellins; an1-6923 includes deletion of Bz2+. Well-developed anthers in ear.
Radiation-induced allele an1-6923 includes loss of Bz2 function (probably a
deletion including the Bz2 locus Nuffer and Coe 1956). This gene was originally
curated in MaizeGDB Database and the map position was displayed on the maize
bins map if feasible.
