Description Dominant Ht2 plants resistant to Exserohilum turcicum. Resistance to Exserohilum
turcicum (=Setosphaeria turcica, Helminthosporium turcicum). Chlorotic lesions
following infection often somewhat larger and more necrotic than those
conditioned by Ht1. On older plants chlorosis may extend from the lesion to the
leaf apex. Other genetic factors modify or inhibit gene expression. (A. Hooker).
