Description Duplicate factor with pg12; seedling light yellowish green; mature plant pale
and vigorous. Thylakoids have low levels of LHCII, similar to Oy*-700 (Polacco
et al. 1987 Dev Genet 8:389). Unlike Oy*-700 Oy, synthesis of
protochlorophyllide is not reduced (L. Rosenkrans and M. Polacco unpublished
data). (M. Polacco). Genetic 2005 6 coordinates determined from these
recombination and map data: y1 -22- pg11; y1 -21- pg11 -10- pl1; see MaizeGDB
