Description Opaque endosperm. Medium size, opaque, moderately shrunken kernel; floury
lacunate endosperm with thin outer layer of corneous starch. Embryo varies from
degenerate to near normal with partiallly degenerate scutellum; germinates to
produce small, green, narrow leaf seedlings which die by 4-leaf stage. Genetic
