Description | OsMADS22, a member of the STMADS11-like family of MADS-box genes, is expressed during embryogenesis and flower development, especially localized in the L1 layer of embryos and developing stamen primordia. Ectopic expression of OsMADS22 resulted in aberrant floral morphogenesis, such as disorganized palea, an elongated glume, and a two-floret spikelet. |
