Gramene Database build 51 is out!

The Gramene Team is pleased to announce its release #51. In collaboration with Ensembl Plants, we are providing in this release:

The ICAR 2016 meeting was held at GyeongJu Hwabaek Convention Center, Korea on June 29- July 3, 2016. The meeting brought ~1000 Arabidopsis researchers from all over the world, especially Asia, Europe, and North America.

2016 Basic DNA Biology and Bioinformatics STEM Camps

Dr. Pankaj Jaiswal (Co-PI of the NSF funded Gramene project) organized a basic DNA Biology and Bioinformatics STEM Summer Camps for 8-12 grade students from Jun 27th -July 1Ist.  To accomodate all applicants, two sessions of this camp were hosted.

The Gramene database has the pleasure to invite you to a FREE 30-min webinar focused on tomato, an economically important crop of the family Solanaceae with a focus on the plant pathways. Plant Reactome (http://plantreactome.gramene.org), the pathway database of Gramene is a freely available online resource of plant metabolic, signaling, and regulatory pathways.

Fascination of Plants Day (FoPD) is celebrated around the world on May 18th.  Although this worldwide event runs every other year and the next one is planned for 2017, smaller and local events were encouraged per individual and local interest on 2016.

What a better way to celebrate FoPD than learning about the awesomeness of plants and the seeds they make!
